City Awards Contract For Finch Park Pavilion
McKinney City Council awarded a 1 815.90 contract to Cuckler Steel Span Co for materials to build a 32 by 42 foot Finch Park pavilion eight feet high with a reinforced metal roof on a concrete slab. The Parks Board favored the bid for its structural reinforcement though not the lowest bid.

Auto Insurance Rates To Increase By Fifteen Dollars

Suspect Held After Collin County Burglaries Probe
Merchandise valued at 1200 dollars stolen May 31 in the Clear Lake area was recovered Thursday in an abandoned Farmersville garage by Collin County sheriff's deputies. Deputy Jerry Kunkle said one arrest had been made in Farmersville and one subject remains at large. Dr. Vinney Smith of Dallas and W. K. Blackburn properties on Scantlin Point were burglarized of fans rods reels clothes blankets tools and radios. Two burglary charges are being prepared against the subject in custody.
