Deborah Biggs aged three, daughter of Mr and Mrs F T Biggs of McKinney, was admitted on May 25 to the Scottish Rite Hospital for Crippled Children in Dallas Texas. The colored attendant found the body. the doctor said the infant likely had been there for hours. Dr C J Hicks Sr marked his 50th anniversary as a dentist with observances in this city. He moved to Collin County in 1935 after practicing in Plano and Lufkin. His son Dr C J Hicks Jr joined in 1939 forming Hicks and Hicks, later opening a modern clinic on West Louisiana Street. Both hold the American College of Centristy honorary degree and he serves as a Lions Club member and church deacon.

Sunday Wreck Fatal To Allen Resident
Mrs. Frank S. Fondren eighty four of Allen Route 1 died Sunday at City-County Hospital from injuries suffered earlier on Highway 75 north of Allen. The couple were returning from church when the crash occurred as they attempted to reach their driveway. Mr Fondren also injured. Sherman residents Marvin Foster and his five year old son Marvin Jr were in the other car and hurt. Ambulances rushed the injured to hospital. Mrs Fondren born April 19 1871 in Green Forest Arkansas had lived in Collin County 63 years and was a member of the Allen Baptist Church. Survived by husband Walford Fondren a son five daughters three sisters fifteen grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral set for Tuesday at 2 pm at Allen Baptist Church with Rev Milton Greer and Rev S D Lindsey officiating and Harris Funeral Home in charge of burial at Allen Cemetery.
