William A. Rhea longtime Collin County pioneer dies
William A. Rhea 67 native of Coila dies Monday night after years of public service. He studied at McKinney College, UT Austin, and earned degrees including LL B and M. He founded Texas A and M Law School in 1925 and practiced law in Dallas. Survived by wife, son Lawrence, daughter Beh Wright of Boston, sister Mrs Cliff Emerson, and brothers D Rhea Montreal and Ed Rhea Corpus Christi. Funeral services held at Sparkman Chapel with burial at Grove Cemetery.

No selection was made with a special session set for Monday morning June 9. Mrs Pliney Perry of the Weston community marked her eighty third birthday with a family dinner attended by about 100 guests. Born May 27 1858 in McMinville Tennessee she is the daughter of George and Sarah Cunningham McWhirter. She married Bud Perry in Tennessee on April 29 1877 and later moved to Texas twenty seven years ago. Her husband has passed away. Her children include Mrs Maggie Bowen Temple Oklahoma and Mrs Walter George and Mrs Weston. She has thirty six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
