County Tax Board Sets June Meetings in Collin County
The Collin County Commissioners Court to act as Board of Equalization on June 26 and 27 to hear property owners' valuation appeals. Court previously approved a 20 percent increase in real estate valuations to fund a $950000 hospital expansion bond. A $2 million hospital project adding 64 beds and training facilities is planned. a re-evaluation for the 1968 tax roll is ordered for completion by September 1968. A re-evaluation firm contract may be considered June 12. Meetings begin at 10 a.m. in the County Courthouse, McKinney.
