The average male voter will sympathize with their plaint is a Logi Cal one. The average person will fail to see any placing voting Booths in now. Did somebody say that an important Politi Cal Campaign was in Progress Smethport residents have every cause to rejoice in the fact that the Smethport Gas co. Has been Able to reach an agreement with the Heinemann interests of Crosby by which Gas will be furnished by the latter parties for local consumption insuring almost an unlimited sup ply of Gas for Domestic purposes in Smethport for years to come. Other communities Are Al ready grappling with the problem of How to meet the situation when their source of natural Gas Supply fails. Smethport residents Are saved this worry by the new arrangement. And this will be found a great asset in boosting Smethport As a place to reside in within the next few years when other communities not so fortunately in regards to for heating and lighting. And the leaders of that party Are asking the voters to countenance a return of just system of party control of govern ment. We wonder just How much sympathy this will be greated with by soldiers of the world War who Are asked to forget the principles for which they stood and repudiate the candidate who is championing them because of the cast of his rounc11 to raise Money features or the color of his socks. Such tactics of Barbage Are hastening the Day when political thought will crystallize into two groups conservative and lib eral which exist to Day Only Are be clouded by the two old parties.
