The crowd tuesday was surprisingly Large for opening Day while yester Day s Gate receipts Wero More than satisfactory this being the opening Day of the races. Today is the big Day and if the weather continues favourable a record breaking attendance is certain. The exhibits this year Are unusually Fine. Under the grandstand there is a wonderful display in the juvenile department. Hero is almost an end less assortment of fancy needlework Garden produce Etc., Ute the product of Youthful skill and toll. The Reg ular culinary and fancy work exhibit under the grandstand is unusually Fine the Grange Booths Are very attract Ive and the educational exhibit of the county schools is an absorbing col Lection. An interesting exhibit is furnished by the Norwich Carbonate of company. In this display Are Home remarkable samples of Corn grown in Mckean county with the use of the company s product. One stalk in particular measures 12 feet 13 in Ches in height. The display of fruit and vegetables is pleasing to the Eye and in spite of the almost total fail ure of the Apple crop in Thia Section the writer noticed some mens on display. The past week winning one game from Johnsonburg last sunday by the score 7-0 and last thursday lost one to Kane by the score 15-1.
