Storm's Fury Destroys Farm and City in Cortland Area
Survivor recounts a terrible cyclone that struck Cortland Wisconsin and Syracuse area, wrecking a farm with 16 cows and a bull, blowing down silos and a barn roof, flooding streets, and leaving homes crushed or scattered. Neighbors aided, one man killed, many houses filled with mud and debris, as the writer and others narrowly escaped disaster and watched from upper stories.
