Hungiville did not hesitate to Call a. Spade a Spade and the Point of his address was so timely that it received the unanimous endorsement of his fellow club members. Tho Best argument for the Smith port canopus club is the accomplish ment of electricity and other improve ments it has set out to secure More has been accomplished for the town s advancement in the three years of the club s existence in spite of its being a period of National depression than in any other similar period of the town s history. Every business Man of Smethport should belong to the canopus club. It is struggling to accomplish the things which will insure their continued Prosperity. Morrison was chairman which arranged Tho Beautiful Community Christmas tree on the court Lawn on behalf of the club in embers. President h. Ii. Redfield expressed the determination of making the Community tree an annual Holiday feature. President Redfield created a Perman ent Public welfare committee which will look after the Community tree plans and take charge of similar civic recreational features. The new committee was entrusted i with the matter of providing Smith port with a suitable out door sym Ming has been under consideration for some time. . Elmer Burdick on Highway Bella was end ened and shocked by the sudden death of mrs. Elmer Bur Dick aged 50 years who had been a resident of that Section for Many years which occurred saturday after noon.
