The sentiment in favor of the Bor Ough taking upon itself the installation of electric Light service is gaining in popularity every Day and unless opposition of unsuspected strength develops there is every reason to Hope for Multi _ mate Success in the movement. The Democrat has been strongly in favor of the proposition from its inception and has kept its readers in formed of every move in the negotiations. It believes that the installation of electric service by the Borough would eventually the greatest material Benefit to Smethport and urges every Friend of the prow Sutlon to be present at the Hose House next monday night at s o clock and make his influence Felt in favor of this excellent move in the right direction.
