Man Killed at Clermont Sunday Pointed to Machinery Accident
Charles W. Spencer foreman of machinery at Clermont Brick and Tile Co. died after being caught in a belt or fly wheel at the plant on Sunday. He leaves a wife and two children and came from East Liverpool to Clermont with the factory. Mercantile firms Brownell Brothers and Redfield Hardware changed hands this week with new ownership and plans to expand groceries and close inventories.

Elmer J. Reed a prominent Erie railroad brakeman died at his Bradford home last Friday aged 26 after three weeks ill with rheumatics and tonsillitis. Born in Farmers Valley he leaves a widow and infant child, his mother Mrs. Catherine Reed of Bradford, five brothers Frank Bert George William Marvin, two sisters Mrs Chester Young and Mrs Eva Varney. Attempted Kidnapping On Nelson Street Alarms Borough
Marl Dickinson twelve-year-old son of C W Dickinson was grabbed tried to be kidnapped on Nelson street near Bank and Cunningham houses.
