The Smethport Travelers Club met Saturday afternoon with 48 members in attendance. Mrs. Barnum spoke on The Life of Helen Keller detailing her illness, education with Miss Sullivan, and later achievements, while Mrs. Herzog presented The Story of Saint Valentine tracing its origins from Roman times to modern commemorations. The program included songs by Mrs. Ebertha Burdie and a Valentine reading, with Olive Schreiber presiding. NORWICH FIRE DEPARTMENT AUXILIARY PLAN BOX SOCIAL proceeds will benefit the auxiliary.
