Rae Carpenter and Lawrence A. Denning married in a 3 pm ceremony at the Fast Smethport Evangelical United Brethren Church. The register included Miss Hae Oertiice Carpenter and family as hosts, with floral decor of white gladioli. After the service, a reception followed at the Thomas home. The couple will reside in Mingara Parish, N Y, as Denning works with Military Civil Defense.
