Three Operators Maxy Adds All-Day Railroad Access

Three operators begin duty for Maxwell's railroad moves with full hourly access to the Santa Fe line. H. K. E. Corey handles the 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. shift, Irving Castillo covers 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Chas Terwilliger moves to the night shift from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. This marks a change from prior hours when service was restricted between 7 and 10 in the morning and evening.

Well Known Pioneer of New Mexico Dead

The funeral of W. H. McBroom of 914 North Corona street was held from his residence at 2:20 p.m. Rev. W. W. Ranney officiated. interment followed at Evergreen cemetery. McBroom, 61, longtime ranchman and former civil engineer, was a pioneer of New Mexico and a Mason of the Santa Fe lodge. He is survived by his widow Mary J. McBroom, two sons Paul and Clive, and a daughter Mary.
