A cyclone roared through a town four miles southwest at 4 45 in the afternoon. It toppled a large elevator with 2 000 bushels of wheat overturned three cars and caused extensive property damage. Several residences barns and business buildings were destroyed or damaged. one man died, a Mr Van Gorkom, crushed between cellar wall and steps as the house blew away.
