Tea and quilting for missionary box and church service
Mrs Geer hosted ten cent tea with several ladies on Friday and Tuesday afternoons to stitch quilt blocks for a missionary box to China. Mrs Ralph Mier hosted half the Ladies Aid Society Tuesday evening with Sunshine bags counted and yearly plans discussed. Three Couples Tie The Knot In Regional Weddings
Three couples were married in farm and home ceremonies in late January and June. Anna de Jong and Theodore Smits wed at the De Jong home with Rev Straks, and will live northwest of Maurice. Marion S. Hoekstra and Henry Wassenar married at Struble with Rev Colenbrander, honeymooning near Carnes.
