Annual Sioux County Picnic Planned For August 30
The Sioux County Farm Improvement Association announces the annual picnic at the Sioux County House and Demonstration Farm on Wednesday August 30. Visitors may inspect orchard demonstrations spraying plantings and budding with test results from oat and corn trials including thirty corn types and a 15 acre breeding plot. The program features a demonstration plot visit 11 20 am band music a basket dinner and speeches by Leo Mis Band Concert William Hutchinson Harvey Ingham and others with officials from the State Board of Control and Des Moines Register. refreshments provided.
