PSC hosts eighth Biennial Quilt Show at Prairie State College
Pieces 'n' Patches Quilt Guild hosts shows from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Prairie State College in Chicago Heights with a Miniatures From the Heart display, door prizes, quilt appraisals by appointment, a resale shop, gift boutique, raffle and vendors. Admission is 4 for adults, 2 for children 12 and under, and 2 for ages 65 plus. The guild, established in 1983, has about 70 members who meet monthly at Park Forest Library to share knowledge and organize community quilting projects for St. James Hospital, the South Suburban Women’s Crisis Center, and Ingalls Hospital. Visitors may park in Lot D at PSC.
