Glenwood School for Boys dedicates Irwin Family Center tonight
Glenwood School for Boys celebrates a renewed focus on family with the dedication of the Richard and Marie Irwin Family Center, funded by a $1 million gift. The 25,000 square foot building, originally built in 1914, will host family meals, training, and parent meetings while the school expands a day school program for single-parent families and broadens Internet access. Senior officials note the center anchors a broader shift toward family support on the 172 acre campus as Illinois First Lady Rosalynn Ryan and Deloris Jordan attend the event alongside about 300 guests.
