Prairie State College advances Learning Resource Center plan
Prairie State College moves quickly on a $7.8 million Learning Resource Center and Community Instructional Center project. The LRC will expand to 21,000 square feet and include a computer lab, archives, class rooms, and a 487 seat auditorium, while the CIC adds 35,000 square feet and a new 8 area food service zone. The remodel adds a Career and Transfer Center and Student Leadership Center, and renews energy efficiency with new lighting and HVAC.
