Matteson hydrants to be sandblasted and painted
The village will sandblast and paint hydrants in Old Matteson Lincoln Terr Race Matteson Farms and Applewood Oakwood from School Avenue west to Crawford. Work runs Sept 23 to Oct 7 Monday through Friday 830 am to 330 pm starting at Old Matteson. About 30 hydrants per day. Expect paint residue on grass near hydrants dissipating in about a week. Remove nearby plantings before work and clear around hydrants to 3 feet.
