Two Country Club Hills men face charges after a Friday fight on Provincetown Drive. Sherrod Malichigenesis, 22, allegedly threatened Billy Hammond with a gun and was charged with aggravated assault. Park Forest police charge two men in drug case
Two 38 year old men, Joel Williams of Chicago Heights and Lester Stevenson of University Park, face felony possession of a controlled substance charges after a traffic stop at Western Avenue and Elm Street. Williams was also charged with illegal transportation of alcohol and a safety belt violation. Stevenson received additional counts for improper lighting and safety belt use. Police found seven bags of crack cocaine in Stevenson's Cadillac and noted Williams was wanted on a prior possession warrant. A separate theft report alleges over 800 dollars worth of electronic gear stolen from a vehicle at Centre Cinema between 9 and 11 p.m. Saturday.

Police recover stolen pizza truck in University Park
A pizza truck was stolen Friday from a parking lot at 700 Sandra Drive University Park. The driver left the vehicle to make a delivery inside a building. A woman warned he was being driven away, triggering a police alert. The truck was found 15 minutes later on Cordova Street.
