RTA approves Oak Brook bus contract for suburbs workers
The Regional Transportation Authority board approved a 3 year, 1.6 million dollar contract with Robinson Bus Service to run a Pace express route from Homewood and Harvey to DuPage County. The service targets South Suburban residents and will begin October 2 with eight coaches on two routes ending at Finely Square in Lombard.

Great America trips planned for teens. Richton Park schedules a Great America trip next Sunday and a Sept 20 St Charles trip with chocolate exhibit and paddleboat ride. The Fourth Annual Village Picnic is Sept 24 at Glaeser Park with sports, music, games, fireworks and free goodies. A flag football clinic for ages 8-13 runs Saturdays Sept 16 to Oct 21 at Helen Jones Park with age based time slots.
