Rich Township teachers avert strike after contract approved

The Richton Park Village Board granted a special use permit for Laura Foster to open a children's day care on the 3600 block of inner Sauk Trail in a converted three story mall unit. Remodeling will take about two months. hours are 6 am to 6 pm. capacity about 55 children including eight infants. Restrictions require state agency remodeling approvals, fire marshal, village Building Department, DCFS approval, a locked rear dumpster, lighting review, and permit amendments for size or enrollment changes.
