Will Board approves zonings 911 plan in Will County
Will County Board approved a 251 zoning decision allowing a 116 acre New Lenox parcel to become a residential subdivision amid strong objections. The plan reduces lots to 1.5 acres minimum and transfers 16 acres to flood plain easement and 16 to Forest Preserve. An intergovernmental 911 agreement with Park Forest would avoid double surcharges for Park Forest residents in Will County if both referendums pass.
