Matteson Commons history faces erosion by progress

Archaeology expert Robert Nale warned at the South Archaeological Society meeting that Matteson Commons near Interstate 57 and Vollmer Road, once a 9000 B C hunting site, has been plowed over for development. Florence Howell remembered as energetic Rich South athlete
