Stroger touts county fiscal health and leadership gains
Cook County Board President John Stroger, seeking re election, presented a 23 page State of the County Report citing deficit reduction and a projected 670 million savings from a new county hospital over five years. He highlighted road projects in Orland Park and a 45 percent to 37 percent poll lead over Aurelia Pucinski with 18 percent undecided.
