Dozens of South Suburbs communities dissolved STARM after 18 years leaving $6.25 million in reserves while total liabilities reach $8.75 million. The $2.5 million shortfall will be shared by all former STARM members. Bills were sent October 5 with amounts based on each town’s premiums led by Lansing at $377,025, Homewood $322,575, Tinley Park $303,600.
The Matteson Village Board on Monday approved development plans for Stoneridge Courtyards unit one, a west side subdivision off Southwick Drive, with 24 town houses planned and a total buildout of about 48 units. Each dwelling will offer 1,600 square feet of living space and two-car garages, per Village Administrator Ralph Coglianese. The board also approved Corporate unit six development plans.
