Hazel Crest Boys Charged With Battery in Two Attacks
Two Hazel Crest 10-year-olds faced two counts of battery after incidents Friday. One boy allegedly pushed a 7-year-old to the ground in the 2800 block of Lexington Ave and the pair then punched and kicked a 10-year-old for his bike in the 2600 block of 171st Street. They were taken into custody and petitioned to juvenile court. Sylvester Brown, 17, was charged with cannabis possession near 170th St and Park Ave after acting suspiciously. A 16-year-old companion was released to parents. FB Jamier Williams, 18, was charged with criminal trespass to land after a gathering on Maple Avenue Friday night. Wallets were stolen from a car in the 16800 block on Sunday afternoon.

Stolen bikes reported in Flossmoor garages and related incidents
Police say four bicycles were stolen from two nearby garages on Harding and Springfield Avenues. A window at Flossmoor Hills School was broken between 3 30 p m Friday and 7 a m Saturday. Amber L Spencer 18 of 2635 Chicago Road South Chicago Heights was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana after a Saturday 1 a m traffic stop at Flossmoor Road and Dixie Highway.

Detectives say two men were found in the Little Calumet River near 130th Street and Morgan Avenue in Chicago's West Pullman. A Lockport man in a boat located a 37 year old Chicago Heights man identified as Robert Davis at 11 09 p m. The second body, a 32 year old Riverdale man, was found nearby.
