Tinley Park Mokena clash over Brookside Glen annexation

Tinley Park plans to annex 828 acres in unincorporated Will County near 191st Street and Harlem Avenue spark conflict with Mokena over who will provide sewer service. IEPA and NIPC officials say boundaries may shift only if a formal petition and amendments to water quality plans occur. Both towns and Frankfort Square HOA oppose annexation until incorporation issues are settled.

Dodd Named Vice President of Development and Public Affairs

William H. Dodd of Flossmoor, longtime Governors State University administrator, is appointed the institution's first vice president of development and public affairs. He will oversee fundraising and governmental affairs, continue directing Alumni Affairs and University Relations, and remain CEO of the Governors State University Foundation. The move follows his 1984 role as executive director for institutional advancement.
