Blood Drive and Health Classes at Local Venues

United Blood Services hosts a Saturday blood drive 8 a.m. to noon at Strickler's Hardware Garden Center 375 Sauk Trail with ID required and parental consent for 16-year-olds. Also offered are parenting class, cancer and Parkinson’s support groups, Wellness on Wheels, autism chapter meeting, and free health programs at James Hospital Homewood and other local centers with contact numbers provided.

The River Oaks Center in Calumet City hosts the Center Steppers mall walker club sponsored by Ingalls Hospital.
