Teen's drive brings mobile games to St Francis pediatric unit
Flossmoor resident Eugene Soltes a 13 year old Parker Junior High student led a sock hop fundraiser to aid the Starlight Beating Program. Donations from McDonalds Nestle and the foundation funded two Nintendo Fun Centers delivered to the pediatric unit in August. Nurses say the machines entertain ill children as they recover and allow movie viewing via the built in VCR.
