Toll Authority Clarifies 90-Day Evacuation Letter Confusion
An Illinois Toll Highway Authority official said October letters to Homer Township residents were not 90 day displacement notices. Special Assistant Attorney General Robert Douglas explained the letters were to inform future land acquisition, though residents found them confusing. At a Heritage Corridor Planning Council meeting a Homer Township resident said he and neighbors received notices claiming a 90 day evacuation for Interstate 356.

District 215 Teachers Strike Dragged On Again
