Top cop on world safety talks with officials at World Theatre
Tinley Park Police Chief Mike OConnell will meet New World Music Theatre officials November 30 to discuss security concerns from the last concert season. Nederlander Inc. ran the venue, switching from full time to part time security with Star Security, and local in-house staff trained via an 18 page manual. Critics note missing guidance on crowd control and first aid, while police stress need for proper training and hands on practice.
