Bloom High tax referendum losses by large margin
Voters in Bloom Township High School District 206 rejected a 99 cent tax rate increase per $100 of equalized assessed value. Preliminary figures show opposition about twice as strong as support, with about 100 parents and students in attendance and district officials planning $4 million in cuts and a new attempt at the next election.
