Park Forest marks 50th anniversary with Welcome Home reunion
Park Forest, a postwar planned community and two time All America City winner, celebrates 50 years with a three day Welcome Home Fourth of July reunion inviting all former residents. The event highlights a homecoming reportedly drawing 150000 passers through residents over five decades and features a House Museum opening, pioneer resident recognitions, and a memory lane brick program. Registration is online via LincolnNet and the Park Forest Historical Society hosts the anniversary events.
