Matteson Fire Department will test hydrants in Glen Ridge Cricket Hill from 8 to 11 am through June 6 with water system flow tests continuing through July unless weather stops them. Residents may experience cloudy or discolored water during testing and Laun dry use should be avoided. Crete Park District offer golf and karate classes for youth
The Crete Park District runs golf lessons for ages 10 17 on Tuesdays 5 30 to 6 30 pm from June 4 to July 2 covering grip stance swing irons woods and finishing with chipping and putting. Karate classes for ages 7 to adult run Mondays and Wednesdays 7 15 to 8 16 pm through July 15 with fees 45 for residents 67 for non residents.
