St James EMS trains Missouri instructors in Poplar Bluff
St James Hospital's Emergency Medical Education team moved its program to Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff Missouri. Led by EMS Coordinator Will Chapleau the team trained twenty instructors in Pre Hospital Trauma Life Support with NAEMT national faculty aiming to expand programs overseas while continuing national courses. The program, active for twenty years, enrolls about 150 students annually with a 95 percent pass rate on state exams and offers EMT PHTLS ACLS PALS neonatal resuscitation first aid and more.
