Will County 4-H Teens Named for National Congress
Tracy Leonard of New Lenox and Richard Bakken of Crete were chosen as Illinois delegates to the final National 4-H Congress in December in Orlando Florida. Leonard, a veterinary science award recipient and Lincoln Way High senior, and Bakken, a Prairie 4-H leader and Will County Federation president, credit 4-H with leadership, citizenship, and community service. The event marks the last National 4-H Congress as donors fund its end and Agriculture officials explore a replacement forum.
