From dropout to PSC student trustee
Gigi Campbell rose from high school dropout at 15 to PSC associate degree recipient with a B-plus GPA. The Park Forest mother and former shelter resident credits Crisis Center for South Suburbia and Respond Now for support, credits her faith and neighbors for stability, and plans to study special education at Illinois State University. Campbell became PSC student trustee and frequently spoke before state panels, encouraged by President E Timothy Lightfield.
