May Richton Park festival opens with music and rides
May Richton Park hosts its 14th Annual Village Festival at Governors Plaza from 6 to 10 30 p m with free admission for Family Night. Rides bracelets cost extra and the carnival runs daily through Sunday. Crete Monee High School Choral Music presents Showtime at 7 30 p m in the Cafetorium with proceeds to the Summer Camp Fund. The event features solos and choirs with songs from Phantom and The Lion King. The Monee Township Trustees meet at 7 30 p m in the Township Building 26121 Egyptian Trail.
