Matteson Armed Robbery Suspects Arrested At Burger King
Two suspects charged in an armed robbery in the Burger King parking lot at 4420 W 211th St Matteson. James H Moore 18 of Homewood and a 16 year old Harvey girl allegedly displayed a knife and demanded money after a juvenile girl urged the victim to comply. Police say the victim gave 1.25 dollars. The two were caught by Glenwood police at a Delta Sonic car wash. A separate 15 year old Matteson juvenile faces aggravated criminal sexual assault charges for assaults on a three year old relative while baby sitting.

Richton Park police report three juveniles face armed robbery charges related to a May 5 incident in the Lakewood Bowl parking lot on Sauk Trail. Chicago Heights man faces felony drug charge after police chase
Chicago Heights police arrested Corey Sledge 17 605 Sullivan on felony possession after a speeding car linked to harassment calls fled. Officers Warner Biedenharn and Andrew Ro bustelli stopped the vehicle and found crack cocaine on Sledge. Police also reported multiple incidents including a watch theft and an attempted carjacking in the same area. Three residents were shot on Mason Court with injuries and hospital treatment. A 16 year old was later charged with unlawful possession of crack cocaine after a search warrant yielded 54 bags worth 600. An 18 year old was charged with possession of crack cocaine after officers found 2 grams at a Wentworth Avenue apartment building.
