Retired clergyman Ledwell leaves lasting community impact
Rev. Joseph Ledwell retires after 33 years at First Presbyterian Church of Homewood. A pastor emeritus, he served in Chicago area churches, aided unclaimed County burials, and volunteers as a Friar Jester with the Medinah Shriners raising funds for children’s hospital. He plans to continue officiating burial services and bring smiles to others.
