Pizza dispute leads to cut at Southwood school
A Southwood school student was cut on the knee over a refused pizza share at 18635 Lee Ave when another student warned she would be cut. The assailant used scissors. the wound was treated by a school nurse.

Bratcher charged after seeking help at police station
Ronald S. Bratcher 51 of 18155 Idlewild Drive was charged Saturday after visiting the police station to inquire about a separate car incident. Police noted a March notice required him to register as a sex offender, which remains incomplete. Bratcher previously was convicted in 1994 of sexually molesting a 16 year old in Harvey in 1991.

University Park man charged after traffic stop
University Park resident Charlie E. Holder, 43, 619 Hickok, was charged with driving with a suspended license and a muffler violation after a traffic stop at Exchange and Steger Road Tuesday. A van was reported stolen from in front of his house Sunday, last seen shortly after midnight. A construction worker reported vinyl siding theft in the 1200 block of Harvest Friday.
