Richton Park names new parks and recreation director

The Richton Park Board of Trustees hires Kimberly Kay Riddering as Parks and Recreation Department director, effective April 1, to replace Patrick Ryan who left last December. Riddering, 29, formerly led Thornton Recreation Department programs since 1991 and holds a ISU degree in physical education with corporate fitness. She will oversee festival planning like the May Village Fest and bring prior budgeting and program duties to Richton Park.
