Special to The Star reports a high speed two car collision at 87th Street and Stony Island Avenue in Chicago's Avalon Park area. Aranthmis Payne 20 of University Park led his car at up to 90 mph through a red light, killing Payne Tamika Williams 19 Jermaine Phillips 19, and injuring Latayana Blissit 20 who remains in serious condition at Christ Hospital. The other driver Shetonja Cox 24 was slightly injured. speed and brake use are under police review. A sealed cognac bottle was found in Payne's car. blood tests are pending.
