Multiple Thefts and Burglaries Reported Across Suburban Area
A series of arrests and thefts are reported including a man attempting to steal liquor and cigarettes from Eagle Country Market, driving with a suspended license in University Park, and two felony burglary charges in Chicago Heights. Additional incidents cover burglaries at Hilltop Liquors, vehicle and motorcycle thefts in Steger and Hazel Crest, seizures of drugs and cash in Vernon Stout case, a cash theft at Aldi in Norwood Square, domestic dispute in Crete, and numerous stolen vehicles in Hazel Crest with several recovered or damaged.
