A 47 year old Country Club Hills man, Earl L. Harden, was shot once in the back of the head while pumping air into his wife's car tires at the Amoco gas station at Route 30 and Governors Highway in Matteson. Police say the shooter used a .25 caliber handgun. investigators continued at the scene with no suspect named. Harden died later at Olympia Fields Osteopathic Hospital.
