Chicago DUI arrests and assault charge amid rain scene

Crete officers charged Michael Kulak 27 with possession of a controlled substance after allegedly finding one gram of cocaine in his rear pocket. Bryant Carter 33 faced DUI charges in Crete, while two vehicles on Benton Street were broken into Thursday night with a stereo missing. Jerome Szala 19 was cited for speeding after a Bemis Road crash that left him with a broken wrist. Discount Food liquor license revoked after an employee sold alcohol to a minor. Erskine DeLoach 43 was arrested for unlawful sale of liquor to a minor. Takia Norwood 17 was stopped with a beer bottle and charged as a minor in possession. Cornelius Washington 17 charged with cannabis possession after a stop near 16th Street. Daniel Bernier 29 faced DUI and multiple related charges in Steger. A Flossmoor woman reported encountering a naked man while jogging near Park Drive and Gordon Drive.

Matteson Police Charge Driver After 216th Street Crash
Police report Douglas J. Boza 46 of 12742 Blue Island was charged with driving under the influence after an accident at 216th Street and Governors Highway in Matteson. A separate stop revealed more then $2,000 in stolen goods and 2.5 grams of cocaine on John Hoskins Jr. 40 of 6124 N Winthrop. Hoskins was charged with theft and possession of a controlled substance after items taken from Montgomery Ward's in Lincoln Mall were found.
