Country club trains staff to use defibrillator
Olympia Fields Country Club bought an automated external defibrillator and trained 18 employees in CPR and device use with Matteson Fire Department guidance. Lt. Ed Leeson noted many had little knowledge but found the setup user friendly. Paramedics still assess rhythms before shocking, and staff are reminded to try CPR first.
