Emissions testing area expands in Will County Illinois
The IEPA broadens the emissions test to four Will County communities Crete Frankfort New Lenox and Monee adding ZIP codes 60417 60423 60449 and 60451 A treadmill style test will simulate a two mile drive to better gauge vehicle emissions and help meet tougher federal air standards Nine new testing stations and renovations at 19 existing ones will begin once ready possibly between January and June.
